I washed my pin-straight hair using only curly hair products to see what would actually happen. I used curly shampoo, mint scalp wash, Black Shakala cream, scalp conditioner, and curl leave-in to test if they would make my hair softer, shinier, cleaner… or actually curly. Final result: ultra soft hair, shiny hair, clean scalp — but no curls.
